Le
Sang Lejeune is a traditional cajun band made up of 3 of direct
decedent's of the Legendary Iry Lejeune. Accordion player Kegan Navarre
is a great grandson of Iry and the grandson of Ervin Lejeune, Iry's
oldest son. Fiddle player Monica Mott is a grand daughter of Iry. Her
dad is James Lejeune the youngest son of Iry. James also plays t-fer
with the band sometimes and sings. Rythmn guitar player is Robert
Richard. He is a grandson of Iry, the son of Elsie Lejeune Richard,
Iry's daughter. Rounding out the band are two very good friends who help
with the playing. Bass guitar player I'd Doug Dugas who has been with
the band from the start and has played with Hadley J Castille and the
Fa-thras. On drums we are very lucky to have the lovely Emily Simon who
is the grand daughter of Mr Joe Simon. All together we make up the band
Le Sang Lejeune (Lejeune Blood).
